Contract Description:
For the 2017 contracting period, the site development project, as part of the larger coho reintroduction project will be responsible for developing acclimation sites in the major release tributaries in the Methow and Wenatchee basins.  Current components remaining that would fall under this contract would include final site designs & associated permitting (county, USACE, NPDES, USFS special use permits, etc).  Outside of the majority of this work occurring for proposed acclimation sites, the permitting process and associated evaluations will be also occurring at the Natapoc FH site to include water withdrawal analyses and final stages of a discharge permit and securing both ground and surface water rights.

1.  Water Rights Processing through WSDOE and GeoEngineers, Inc.- As a selected contractor from WSDOE list of contractors, GeoEngineers, Inc. is able to work with Ecology to produce and review ROEs and finalized for public comment and ultimately, water right being secure.
2.  Subcontracted work will include final design at Early Winters 3, Trinity and Eightmile (likely to be completed prior to end of the 2016 contracting period but continued support through bidding and construction management) along with site permitting support in preparation for 2017 construction at several locations in both the Methow and Wenatchee basins.
3.  Dredging/sediment removal will be needed for Rohlfing's Pond in summer/fall of 2017.  Permitting and implementation aspect of that project will be covered in this SOW and operational expense will be covered in O&M / M&E operations (CR-301923)
4.  Permit support (geotechnical) for well drilling evaluations for Tall Timber 2 or Two Rivers.

Will likely be in the final stages of amended BiOps for  NMFS and would expect project coverage before start of this contracting period but listed as a contingency.  USFWS amended BiOp was completed in July 2016.
